Spencer + Sapo
packaging design 2015

Spencer soap dish recently launched and of course needed some great packaging. Spencer is placed in different kinds of shops, including specialized shops for soaps, museum shops and concept stores. Packing the soft soap dish in a box that matches it exactly makes it easier to store many boxes, one on top of another. Two kinds of plain, white boxes contain the two shapes of Spencer – the round one in a cube and the square one in a rectangular box. Coloured stickers on the sides and on the back refer to the colour of Spencer inside. The soap dish is available in five different soft colour tones. This means the customer can choose one matching the colour scheme of their interior. To get an impression of the real colour of the product, a viewing window is integrated in the packaging.
To go with the soap dish, there are five matching Sapo soaps. The handmade soap is wrapped in sheer white paper like a delicious bonbon. Olive, rose, rose petals, mint and lavender are written on the coloured sticker on the top referring to the packaging design of Spencer. The colourful brochure contains information about the products and a poster of the photogenic pieces on the flip side.
Spencer and Sapo are a nice and harmonious combination inside and outside the box.
